About the Institution

Volyn Medical Institute - the first medical educational institution in Volyn, which has always been a center of training of highly qualified junior specialists for the health care system of Ukraine. The Volyn Medical Institute was founded in 1944 and it has achieved a well-deserved reputation in Volyn region.

Our Institute prepares: Nurses, Midwives, Pharmacists, Paramedics.

During the war, our University hosted temporarily displaced persons at the dormitories. Due to the current situation, most of the students are forced to look for accommodation because of the lack of facilities. Some of the students and staff joined the army and currently fighting for our country.

Because of the war, we lost human resources, interdisciplinary connections, certain logistical connections, research opportunities, reduced funding for scientific research, etc.

We need relations with a foreign university/group to start a new international research collaboration, support with equipment, internships abroad, grant opportunities and informational support for researchers from Ukraine.
