The topics of probably common research projects: automation of building machinery (i.e. robotic excavators); robot navigation; creation of virtual labs in automation to help students conduct their labs and research projects online, including with smartphones.
The Department teaches bachelors and masters in Industrial Automation. Our graduates work with automation systems in various enterprises worldwide: in Germany, Poland, Mexico, Moldova, China, Iran, Morocco, Libya, etc.
The Department staff conducts research on the automation of building machinery, robot navigation, and project management. We are keen to collaborate with colleagues on the mentioned topics or integrate into existing research programs on a long-term basis.
Unfortunately, during the Russian invasion, most of the educational and laboratory equipment of the department became out of order due to adverse weather conditions (windows in the department premises were broken by a blast wave due to the massive bombings of Kharkiv).
Therefore, we will be grateful for any help in equipping our educational setups. Moreover, we are highly interested in collaborating in the creation of virtual labs in automation to help students conduct their labs and research projects online, including via smartphones.
