The Michnick Lab at the University of Montreal is actively searching for enthusiastic Laboratory Technicians. Candidates must possess a background in cellular and molecular biology, demonstrated by at least an MSc degree. Candidates with a BSc degree and 3+ years of relevant experience will also be considered. The ideal candidate should display a strong drive to learn, thrive in a dynamic work environment, excel in a competitive landscape, and progress into roles with increasing responsibility. Experience and skill in mammalian cell transfection, antibody purification, and characterization are essential. Having a grasp of chemically-induced proximity methods and CRISPR gene editing would be advantageous.
