The aim of this position is to support our ongoing research activities in characterization of thin films of metal oxides by means of electron microscopy. The main task will include sample preparation, repair & maintenance of preparation tools and basic operation of electron microscopes. Experimental and practical experience with electron microscopy including structural and chemical characterization of thin films is desired.

The candidate should have a (good) knowledge in crystallography and in chemistry as well as preferentially experience with electron microscopy and sample preparation for electron microscopy (especially TEM). Applicants should also have a reasonable English proficiency to communicate. Ukrainian scholars are encouraged to apply!
